Pending Charges or Holds
To help protect protect against credit card fraud we use an Address Verification System (AVS).
It compares the address you enter online with the address your bank or credit card issuer has on file for you to see if it matches.
In an attempt to protect you against someone using your card fraudulently, your transaction might be declined if the address you enter doesn't exactly match the one they have on file for you.
If your transaction is declined because of an AVS mismatch (an address mismatch), you may temporarily see a corresponding transaction if you look at your bank account or credit card statement online.
This is called a pending hold.
Because the transaction declined, we will not collect the funds and your order did not go through. You did not purchase tickets.
- Your bank/credit card company is temporarily holding the funds.
- They sometimes take up to 3 business days to release the funds.
- In such a case, we suggest you contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to release the 'pending hold' on your funds.
